Insurrection Tour Part 3

For the third post on Peter Rollins Insurrection Tour I am only going to post one video.
Pádraig Ô Tuama is truly a unique voice, and I am not talking about his singing. I got to spend a little time with Pádraig that night in Atlanta and came away a better person for it. This song is a shock to the system, the kind that can start a dead heart beating again.

Insurrection Tour

This is going to be the first in a series of post showcasing a unique and provocative evening I had the honor of filming in early April. For ten days in April, Peter Rollins, Pádraig Ô Tuama, and Jonny McEwen, set out to remind us that belief in the event of Resurrection means nothing less than participation in an Insurrection...

Pete is a gentleman and a scholar, a subversive dissident and my friend.

Warning... this tour involves the use of strong language and ideas that may be unsuitable for those easily offended.

Digital Graffiti 2010

As many of you know, one of my films has been chosen to show at the Digital Graffiti Film Festival in Alys Beach, Florida. Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach is the world’s first projection art festival, with artists using the latest technologies to project their original works onto the town’s iconic white walls. It will be held on June 12, 2010 beginning at 8:30pm. With 270 entries from 17 different countries, and 36 finalists--it should be an interesting night. You're all invited to come, but only if you vote for my film, "Void?", as Audience Favorite! Hope to see you there...

Views on Climate Change

I have been asked to be a regular participant in the "Perspectives" art show in Rosemary Beach, Florida. It is a group show centered around a common theme and takes place every few months. There are eight artists who contribute. They are painters, photographers, sculptors and performance artists and I will be creating an original short for each of the shows. The theme for the first show I participated in was "Views on Climate Change".
